CARTOON ME
I took a fun and whimsical approach by inserting myself right into my all-time favorite cartoons, mimicking the unique design styles of the original creators. I playfully dubbed this project "Cartoon Me."
I shared it on Twitter and Instagram, and to my surprise, it went wild! I received more than 10,000 likes and got over 500,000 eyeballs on it within just 48 hours. Pretty crazy, right?
But the coolest part was, I didn't just keep it to myself. I opened it up to my audience, letting them snag personalized cartoon illustrations of themselves as their beloved animated characters. All they had to do was send in a photo for reference.
The whole idea behind this project was to show that art is everywhere around us. Fine art might feel a bit distant to some folks, but everyone can relate to the magic of their favorite cartoons from childhood. I wanted to make art more approachable, more relatable.
As an artist, my goal is to bring ideas to life, and "Cartoon Me" was the perfect way to do just that.
