Chicago Made; An Artist…
Born and raised on Chicago's South Side, I am a self-taught artist shaped by the vibrant influences of culture, fashion, sports, and lived experiences. My passion lies in transforming ideas into reality by blending art and culture through creativity, experimentation, and thoughtful design, all with the goal of inspiring and uplifting those around me. What began with painting a pair of Nikes and Timberlands has grown into creating murals across Chicago, exhibiting in galleries, hosting workshops for Chicago’s youth, and collaborating with incredible brands.
My artwork reflects my journey as a Black kid in Chicago, chasing a dream I once didn’t know was possible. Through my art, I aim to amplify my voice and the voices of others who share similar experiences, encouraging the pursuit of paths beyond society's conventional expectations. Each piece represents personal growth and its connection to the broader world, symbolizing progress along this journey.
Dreams, like flowers, take time to bloom. My work is a testament to growth and a reminder to embrace the patience needed for transformation. Art has opened doors I never imagined—from collaborations with the Chicago Bulls to recognition by the Smithsonian. My work stands as a symbol of what’s possible, not just for myself but for everyone. Don’t let others define your potential; the world is your canvas.
